Eighteenth-Century Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous

This walk started at the Musee Jacquemart-Andre. The two museums we went to on this walk were both houses that belonged the highly important people in the names of the museums. When they died, their beautiful houses were turned into museums for all to enjoy.

This one belonged to Jacquemart-Andre.

I loved the lions on the sides of the staircase!

Inside! I actually wasn't allowed to take pictures. What you see here are pictures I found online because you just had to see the inside of this place! It was too incredible for you not to!

LOVED this staircase! This house was sooooooo pretty!!!

Walking down the street to our next stop...

I saw the most random Chinese building on the corner and had to document it for you. Enjoy.

Welcome to Parc Monceau!

This beautiful house was on the edge of the park. How would it be?!

Loved this. The funny thing is the ruins that you see in the park were built as ruins! Oh well, they are pretty anyway!

What is with my fascination with the pigeons? We were watching the ducks in the pond and there were all of these pigeons on the side watching. It was almost as if they wished they could hope in the pond and swim too! I almost pushed them in. Almost.

Here is the next museum! Musee Nissim de Camondo.

Entrance to the house

Inside! Again- you may thank the internet for your pictures.

I thought this kitchen was insane. Look at that stove! There had to have been some serious cooking going on here.

When can I move in?

Last view on the street before hopping on the metro to head home.

This walk was a lot of fun. I loved the park, and I am definitely planning on going back before I leave. The two museums were beautiful! I can't believe people actually lived like that! Lifestyles of the rich and famous was a very appropriate title for this walk!
